Education/Training: High School Diploma, GED.
In-Service Training: 20 Hrs. (Health, Safety & Nutritional regulations and procedures Center Guidelines and Policies Parent/Staff Interactions).

Essential Knowledge: Team Player, Professionalism, Menu planning, Planning a safe and healthy environment, Basic understanding of the environmental rating scales, Understanding of the Health and safety regulation, Licensing compliance and local regulations, Responsible for planning of snacks and meals; orders and inventories all kitchen and bathroom items, the preparation & distribution of food, picking up and washing dishes, organizing the kitchen and its storage areas, and taking out trash from the kitchen and classrooms. Ensures health and safety standards are met; accepts temporary assignments such as teachers breaks...etc within the school.
